2013 OSCARS: Year Of The Diva!!!

This years Oscar’s is shaping up to be the Diva’ist of them all.Streisand’s performance will be only the second time she has sung at the awards show, according to CBS News.Dame Shirley Bassey will make her Oscars debut in a special tribute honoring the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series. The film is nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing.

Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated song Skyfall from the James Bond film with the same name, a return to the stage after a hiatus in which she gave birth to a boy with her boyfriend Simon Konecki. The United Kingdom native already won a Golden Globe and BRIT Award for the song and the tune, off of the Skyfall soundtrack, is nominated for Best Original Song on Sunday. It marks Adele’s first Oscar nomination.

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is also scheduled to perform as well. This is gonna be GOOD!!!!

Madonna gives a fun, intimate interview literally on her bathroom floor after one of her MDNA tour shows in Miami. The interview is done by Brazillian television personality Luciano Huck, as a promo for her upcoming shows in Brazil. The interview seems more like a chat amongst friends, very much like the ones she’d give with MTV’s Kurt Loder back in the day.

And go deeper is exactly what Madonna did with her sexy, haunting “Erotica” album, which celebrates it’s 20th Birthday today. The album managed to flow from many styles, pop, hip hop, jazzy grooves, and thumping house. Many would argue that the album got lost in all the scrutiny of the accompanying, “Sex” book and “Body Of Evidence” movie. People wondered had Madonna gone too far. Sure, maybe the album got less attention, but as years have passed, it has stood as one of her best efforts to date and the songs still sounds as fresh today as they did twenty years ago. In fact i’m listening and loving as i type this!!! Happy Birthday Erotica!!! Twenty never sounded so good!!
